STILLS

Charles loves photography and accepts all commissions as a challenge. On this site you will see portraiture, commercial photography, weddings, babies and landscapes.

We can canvas mount, acrylic mount - in fact any kind of photographic mounting you wish. We have serviced businesses that want staff pictures, school photographs and many other events. Our picture quality is superb. We shoot on full frame digital cameras and the quality is there to see. We also produce superb canvas prints as well as other high class print finishes.

HOW I WORK

his sitting is preferably in you home where children are more relaxed. Don’t worry about decor. In most visuals, backgrounds are blurred or cannot be seen properly. However, if you would like me to use a different location, please don’t hesitate to ask. I’m quite happy to work in homes, parks, gardens or anywhere else for that matter.

EQUIPMENT

All our images are created on a full frame digital camera. Even though the file size of these images is huge (around 23MB per file) we use what we consider to be the best format for your images.

WEDDINGS

A successful wedding shoot depends on the amount of pre-photography time we spend. We need to meet with the couple. I need to know what the wedding party is wearing, hair style and makeup. We will discuss the must have photographs, as well as the random pictures we will be taking. Depending on the size of the wedding, I will use an assistant as well as an additional photographer. These days we have a tendency to produce a printed album. We find the quality of these books to be excellent (using a printer of our choice) . When we have finished our discussions I will be able to give you a firm quotation on your wedding.

CHILDREN

Children grow up so quickly. Recently I have given parents a two year contract to photograph their children every 3 or 4 months. When completed we produce a coffee table book. Additional books can be produced. We find these books to be a favorite amongst grandparents. Of course we produce enlargements for mounting and hanging as well.

VIDEO

Charles ran his own video production company for many years in South Africa and then in London. We specialized in TV commercials and documentaries. Over the years our TV commercials won many international awards. We can produce wedding videos finished on DVD.
